Honda Ireland are the nationwide distributor for Honda Motorcycles, All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV’s), lawn and garden products, marine, power equipment, engines and genuine Honda parts.
A few years back, we began working with Honda Ireland to develop a fresh and modern website that maintained the professionalism and branding that customers around the world have come to expect from the Honda brand sustained success.
A decision was made to migrate the online store to WordPress/Woocommerce. The primary goal was to liberate the client from the constraints of their existing setup, especially within the Shopify environment. We aimed to develop a solution that would empower the client with greater flexibility, customisation capabilities, and freedom from the limitations they had faced.
The objective was to create an online environment that not only attracted more visitors but converted them into loyal customers. Our SEO team also got involved from the initial stages to assist in optimising the website and maximising its potential to perform in SERPS (Search Engine Results Pages).
We also redeveloped a number of existing customisations and made further enhancements to the backend to facilitate smooth daily operations.
As Honda Ireland’s requirements grew from a simple website to a fully-featured online store, we were on hand to deliver on these challenging requirements.
We developed specific ‘customer-orientated’ features making their online experience with Honda both friendly and intuitive. Customers can now simply complete a short form and book a service with their nearest dealer which works via the ‘Smart Dealer Locator’ plugin which uses the customers IP to locate their nearest dealer.

We designed a modern and stylish user interface that reflects Honda’s prestigious brand, and built a custom, high-performance WordPress website. Bespoke plugins were seamlessly integrated, including a ‘warranty & claims’ plugin for customer warranty registration and a comprehensive Dealer Locator.
High-resolution in-store product and store photography further enriched the site’s visual appeal.
Additionally, we integrated an e-commerce solution with a robust payment gateway, enabling Honda Ireland to efficiently manage online orders. In 2019, we added online finance capabilities, allowing customers to apply for credit and either collect their goods in-store within the hour or opt for home delivery, thereby enhancing customer convenience and satisfaction.
